Waldo's Chicken & Beer: Crispy Chicken & Laid-Back Vibes in Brentwood, TN

This was our first time trying Waldo's, and overall we were impressed. The chicken itself was good - well seasoned and crispy. The fries were good too, nice and thin. The bread wasn't great, but it's bread so it isn't bad either - just not enough butter. The sauces we got, ranch, jalapeno ranch, and buffalo, were all good.

Waldo’s Chicken and Beer is a must-visit for any fried chicken enthusiast. Their signature "OG" sandwich is perfectly crispy, and the scratch-made sauces add a great kick. The atmosphere is laid-back, the beer selection is solid, and the service is consistently fast. A top-tier casual spot!

Waldo’s catered food for our sons senior dinner and it was excellent from start to finish. Olivia and Enzo were incredibly helpful and even delivered the food, which made everything so easy for us. The food was fresh, delicious, and exceeded all our expectations. We received so many compliments—highly recommend Waldo’s any occasion and especially for catering.

I had the chicken scratch salad (fried chicken). It was a large bowl of salad and was delicious. A couple of people in our group had the chicken strip meals. The restaurant has a great feel, with awesome artwork of past and present rock and country artists (David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Reba McEntire) all holding chicken. We were offered a couple of complimentary bowls of banana pudding, which was delicious!! In addition to the tables and booths inside, there are several outside tables. This location in Brentwood is a great area. It is beautiful with little shops lining the sides of the streets. There is even a little park area with umbrella covered picnic tables and a couple of cornhole board sets.

Naomi has made my experience at Waldo’s fabulous. Every time I go, I look for her… she’s been the best for over two years and makes customers feel remembered ! Outstanding service and amazing food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We met here with Leadership Brentwood and had a fantastic experience. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our group was well taken care of, and the atmosphere was perfect for both conversation and relaxation. Waldo’s truly lives up to their motto—no shortcuts, just better. Highly recommend for both casual dining and group gatherings!

We heard people talk about Waldo's and decided to do take out. We picked up several pieces of fried chicken, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and some cheesy muffins. How do they make that chicken with a thin crispy crust outside so juicy and tender inside, moist and not greasy? Delicious! The kids love the mac and cheese, and determined that this is their favorite. It is big elbow pasta with thick creamy sauce and some chunks of cheese. YUM! Coleslaw is full of the cabbages and not overloaded with sauce. Great food. I wish we had ordered more. Our order was exactly what we requested, and ready on time. Waldo's is great for delivery/take out but next time, we'll do dine in.

Drove by here hungry and ended up deciding to giving the place a try! Came here last night and was delightfully surprised on how tasty the food was. Brody gave us top tier service, he was on top of things and made sure we had what we needed! He had recommended us to try the cheddar biscuits with the butter. (Not sure why they called them cheddar biscuits… because it’s not like your average savory cheddar biscuit) but they are SO delicious. They taste like cake bites so so fluffy, good by themselves or with the sweet butter. The biscuits are sweet but not too sweet. My spouse loved the chicken tenders while I had a chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was with a good buttery bun, breading was salty and the chicken was juicy (but not greasy juicy). The ranch here tastes good, it has a fresh taste as if it’s house-made. Overall good experience! Would love to come back
